Tutorial: Connect HSS Elite 3.11 on Smart Prepaid

In this tutorial entitled: Tutorial: Connect HSS Elite 2.65 on Smart Prepaid, jonathan2012 teach us on how to connect for 'free' the elite version of hss and im posting here in phfreeinternet.com so anyone will know that this is exist and have a working free internet connection. We will be using Smart Prepaid USB Smart Bro or any USB Modem openlined and inserted a smart prepaid sim card.

> Download HSS Elite 2.65 or http://www.sendspace.com/file/o55hsk

>APN Settings in your Smartbro:

Name: anything

Dialup: *99#

apn: internet

> Install HSS Elite 2.65

> Uncheck the three (3) boxes then wait untill 'Completed'

> Now go to:

Windows 7 64bit user:

Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Hotspot Shield\config folder

Delete the "config.hvpn" file replace it with  the "config.hvpn" file inside the installer of HSS Elite 2.65

For Windows 7 32bit/Xp user:

Go to C:\Program Files\Hotspot Shield\config folder

Delete the "config.hvpn" file replace it with  the "config.hvpn" file inside the installer of HSS Elite 2.65

> Next, Go to C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc

then replace the 'hosts' file

>Connect Dashboard 

Connect Hotspot Shield

> Dont Browse, Just wait untill it Updates

then open again to check the version

if it says 'ver. 3.11' exit

> then install again the HSS Elite 2.65

when computer ask Overwrite the newer file? Click 'NO TO ALL' then Click 'Ignore'

> then go to:

Windows 7 64bit user:

Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Hotspot Shield\config folder

Delete the "config.hvpn" file replace it again with  the "config.hvpn" file inside the installer of HSS Elite 2.65

For Windows 7 32bit/Xp user:

Go to C:\Program Files\Hotspot Shield\config folder

Delete the "config.hvpn" file replace it again with  the "config.hvpn" file inside the installer of HSS Elite 2.65

> You will need to delete the 'htdocs' folder then replace with the 'htdocs' folder inside the downloaded installer of HSS Elite 2.65

then delete the following:

C:\Program File\Hotspot Shield\HssFF folder

Delete:  config_elite_ff.txt,  config_ff.txt,  config_ff_srch.txt

   

C:\Program Files\Hotspot Shield\HssIE

Delete:  config_elite_ff.txt,  config_ff.txt,  config_ff_srch.txt

C:\Program Files (x86)\Hotspot Shield\update folder

Delete all files inside the folder

C:\Program Files (x86)\Hotspot Shield\hsswd\default

Delete all files inside the folder

> Lastly, Connect dashboard and  HSS Elite 3.11
