I already try 3 methods to install hss on a windows 64bit system, and i will post here to help anyone out there, personally i experience the other day when im trying to install hss on a 64 bit system, and hexvpn that i used a long time na, won't install (grr!), and i try also the add tap by sir duf and wont work either! Method 1:
> Download the legit installer of Hotspot Shield VPN here: http://www.anchorfree.com/hotspot-shield-VPN-download-windows.php
the website says that it is supported on a 86/64 bit system platform, it means that it will install the hsstap adapter, just take note after installation boot in safe mode then delete the folder 'hotspot shield' in program files directory
Method 2:
FILES NEEDED:
OpenVPN User Interface - DOWNLOAD HERE
> Boot in 'Safe Mode'
> Open Tap-HSS Adapter 64-bit (info and images credited to MakoyPalaboy)
> Open Device Manager
> then follow screenshot:
1. right click the 'Unknown Device'
2. Click 'Update Driver Software'
3.Locate the OpenVPN User Interface by clicking Browse my computer etc.. ..
4. Locate the OpenVPN User Interface
5. Check then Install
6. Done
> Now Boot on Normal Mode> Uncheck the 'Safe Mode' at number 4
Method 3
> Download ShieldVPN Final: http://www.mediafire.com/?ozczm5v995qb96c
> Extract then Run as Admin the ShieldVPN.exe
> and it will automatically detect and install if you have a hsstap in your system, bot working on 32bit and 64 bit windows operating system
